Xbox Elite controller not working on Windows 7
When I plug the controller into my computer for the first time it installed its drivers.
I have attempted to play rocket league and The Binding of Isaac Rebirth with it but it does not work. The Xbox logo button is not lit up.
My understanding is that there is a app for this controller in Windows 10. Also that it does not need the app and should work on Windows 7 and 8.
Please help.
Thank you.
EDIT: Someone has found a solution.

I just got my Xbox Elite controller and managed to get it to work under Windows 7. From what I gathered, you need the drivers for the original Xbox One Pad from June 2014. Get them here and install: http://mjr.mn/XboxOnePCDriversx64

I previously used the revised controller with jack port and improved bumpers. That version was not automatically detected by Windows 7, I had to manually force to install the drivers ('Browse my computer for driver software'>'Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer', then I got a list 'Select your device's type from the list below' and I found 'Microsoft Xbox One Controller' on that list aaaand... it worked!
